It’s been nearly a month since the release of Barbie, but I think it’s safe to say Barbie-fever is still very much alive. In fact, the first look today is what I wore to see Barbie! With Barbie in mind and heart, let’s take a look at some of my recent pink looks.
In today’s first look the clear standout piece is this marvelous kaftan. I adore the idea of becoming a kaftan woman. I recently just thrifted a second kaftan into my collection, but this one was a fabulous first. The colors, the checkers, the length, the fabric, the comfort. It’s all 10 out of 10 spectacular.
Look #2 is my summer uniform – Aritzia tank, J Crew Skirt, and Target Lugsole Sandals. I’ve worn various color combinations of this outfit since Spring. It’s so reliable.
The third look is one I threw together on whim for a girls night. I bought the beaded shoulder top from a local boutique and wanted to pair it with something loud. It doesn’t get louder than this neon pleated skirt. I’ve had this skirt for a few years and it can be hard to style due to its neon nature. Every time I wear it I love it so I need to make an effort to pull it out more often.
