Hey y’all hey! Today we are looking into my love of skirts.
In today’s first look we have some serious color blocking. I recently bought this Amazon The Drop slip skirt to see how it compared to my favorite J Crew Slip Skirt. I’m happy to report its fabulous. The fabric is silky and luxe, and most importantly doesn’t feel like it will easily snag. This particular royal purple shade is so versatile. I’m excited to style it in a million different ways. I have so many outfits I’d like to create with this interest dark purple color.
Our second look features one of my brilliant vintage thrift finds. This skirt is paisley and floral, but somehow makes it work without feeling like overkill. The stretchy waistband makes it super comfortable to wear. I love how easy this print is to dress up or down.
Do I even need to talk about the skirt in our third look? I’ve raved in several posts about how much I adore these maxi skirts from J Crew. I wore it to jury duty to stay comfortable while being shuffled between rooms at the courthouse, which are notoriously inconsistent temperatures.
The skirt in the last look might be the most beautiful skirt I own. I could stare at it all day. This skirt is from Loft last year so I won’t be able to link to it. It’s another piece that inspires creativity for me because of the many colors/shades of colors featured in the print.
