What I Loved in January
January was a very hard month to get through this year. Some wild things that I can’t discuss were happening at work, our water heater went up and spit water out ruining the floors, and a fuse blew breaking our back up heat. It’s been a struggle to stay positive at times. I like to think I’m pretty grounded in reality and logic, but sometimes a good cry is necessary. That said we were able to incorporate some fun throughout the chaos.
We saw the Shangela Fully Lit tour and WOW! This is was amazing. I could honestly listen to Shangela story tell for hours and hours. She’s such an amazing performer.
We also took a weekend trip to New York City for my birthday. I have a vlog with all the details of our trip here. We ate so much amazing food, saw Chicago and Wicked, and I got a bit of shopping in as well. Both of the shows were amazing and it was so cool to see Jinkx Monsoon in a Broadway show.
I know we did more fun stuff this month but it gets clouded up in all the stress I’ve been feeling. I’m hoping February is a month of solutions so that March can lead me into a more more pleasant Spring.
