Book Chats: Why Good People Do Bad Things by Debbie Ford
This week I finished up reading Why Good People Do Bad Things by Debbie Ford. I feel like this is a book everyone should read at some point in their lives. The way Ford breaks down the different facades we all tend to hide behind in order to protect ourselves is the most consumable that I’ve come across. Don’t get me wrong the content of this book is dense and its a lot to get through, especially when you’re questioning your own life’s actions along the way. If you’ve ever been hurt by someone, and you absolutely have because you’re human, this book provides such great insight into why people treat others the way they do. I don’t want to get too into the weeds with this review because it could spiral out of control easily, but I will say this – if you have ever felt the desire to take the tiniest peak into the thought patterns behinds someone’s actions, this book is a fantastic place to start. I will most certainly be passing this on to a friend who I know would appreciate this insight as much as I did.
