Life in the Time of COVID-19 | Week 10
Posted On May 24, 2020
Week 10 has come and gone, and in it’s path of destruction it left behind a boat load of pollen. I’m typing this post up right now sitting next to a box of tissues. This has probably been the biggest obstacle I’ve had to face all week, which all things considered, isn’t so bad.
I moved my work set up upstairs into my actual office this week. I had been working in the dining room but since this work from home situation seems like its not changing any time soon I figured a more permanent set up was due. I’m not sure why but my day feels like it flies by so much quicker now.
Bob’s Burgers and Masked Singer both had their season finales this week, which just means I’m going to have even more time on my hands to entertain myself. I was so happy that Kandi won Masked Singer and was the very first woman to win. I knew it was her from the very first episode because I’m a RHOA addict.
I got in some new cute clothes this week. I’ll be doing a haul video once I get all my orders in. I know it’s not like I really have anywhere to wear these new clothes but I’ve been pushing myself to get dressed everyday to perk up my spirits a little bit. Before all of this picking out a fun outfit to wear everyday was a very important part of my identity. I’m not sure what that says about me as a person. Regardless, its been nice to get dressed up.
My thoughts in summary on this week:
1. This pollen is kicking my ass.
2. I was bored for the first time this week. Not bad. I lasted 10 weeks before getting bored at home.
3. I painted my nails blue and they look fabulous.
4. I have a doctors appointment this weekend and I’m not looking forward to going out for it.
