Maybelline ColorSensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick Dupes

Maybelline ColorSensational Rebel Bloom Lipsticks
Above is the gorgeous new line of lipsticks from Maybelline, Rebel Bloom. The range is absolutely beautiful and definitely my cup of tea. Because these colors were really my taste I thought surely I must have dupes for some of them.

Maybelline ColorSensational Rebel Bloom Dupes

Well, it turns out that I actually have dupes for the entire Rebel Bloom line. In some cases the Rebel Bloom lipstick dupes a limited edition color, in some cases there is a slightly more affordable option, and for some there is a dupe already in the Maybelline lipstick line.

Below I have all of the dupes swatches so let’s go through them in order.

Barely Bloomed – The closest thing I had to Barely Bloomed was MAC’s Kelly Osborne Collection limited edition lipstick in Riot House. Riot House was absolutely terrible. The color is lovely but it’s so dry and applies super patchy. I haven’t tried out Barely Bloomed yet, but I hope it’s much better than Riot House.
Blushing Bud – The best dupe I could find for Blushing Bud was Bite Beauty’s Sable, which came in the holiday set. Sable is just a tad browner, Blushing Bud is pinker, they are very close to being the same thing.

Power Peony – MAC’s Saint Germain is the same color as Power Peony. The only difference between these two lipsticks is color payoff. Saint Germain has a more saturated pigmentation.
Hibiscus Pop – MAC’s Pink Nouveau is darker than Hibiscus pop with a better color payoff as well.
Petal Pink – It seems Maybelline didn’t do the best research into their own line’s because Petal Pink is nearly identical to Pink Pop from the Vivids line.

Lilac Flush – I don’t own many pale purple lip colors so the closest I could get to Lilac Flush is MAC’s Kelly Osborne limited edition lipstick in Dodgy Girl, which is darker and far more pigmented than Lilac Flush.
Orchid Ecstasy – It is with great joy that I declare Orchid Ecstasy is a pretty close dupe to MAC’s limited edition (and also my all time favorite) lipstick in Petals & Peacocks. As seems to be the theme Orchid Ecstasy doesn’t have the same level of pigmentation as the MAC dupe.
Rose Rush – I pulled from the Maybelline Vivids line again for this dupe. It appears that Neon Red is basically the same color as Rose Rush

Coral Burst – And again, pulling from within Maybelline’s pre-existing lipsticks, Shocking Coral from the Vivids line is incredibly similar to Coral Burst. Even the name are almost the same.
Peach Poppy – This lipstick is special because it gets two dupes. The Matte Lip Color from e.l.f. in Coral is just a pink orange than Peach Poppy. The NYX Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel is basically the exact same color as Peach Poppy, just in gloss form.

I really hope this dupe list helps someone out. I don’t regret buying the whole line since I wanted to share it here on the blog, but realistically I didn’t need to. I pretty much had every color in my collection already.

Let me know if you have any other dupes for these lipsticks.
