Review: Color Club Nail Lacquer in Breakfast At…

So lets ignore how sad my cuticles look right now, ok, thanks, appreciate that. Nothing is helping them right now. Womp womp…

Anyway, I received this Color Club nail lacquer in the color Breakfast At… in my Birchbox this month. The color is simply beautiful. It’s a pearlized minty-seafoam shade. I feel like a lady-like mermaid wearing this color. It reminds me of a pearly Essie Mint Candy Apple.

The formula is really thick. You would not want to be slicking on layer after layer of this, and the great thing is you don’t need to! The color is opaque and even in just one coat. You really do not need more than one coat at all. I was going to do my standard two coats, but there was really no point. It looks great with just one. I’m so not used to that and it was really nice. It definitely saves time to only need one color coat and a top coat.

I’ve never used a Color Club polish before and I have to say I’m really impressed with the quality of this one. If I didn’t already have so much nail polish I would definitely buy the whole set of 4 that this color is a part of. The set is only $13 and if the other polishes match this one in quality that’s a great deal. I highly recommend it. And you know, if I’m feeling naughty one day I might order it anyway with my Birchbox points (but seriously I need more nail polish like a hole in my head).
