Is it Really Autumn? Outfit of the Day

The other day it was so nice out that I was completely comfortable in a sun-dress, thus the title of this post – Is it really Autumn? Because for a few days it wasn’t feeling like it, and then it dropped immediately down to the 30s. Oh Baltimore weather, always so indecisive. Also look at my knees. They are so strange looking – off topic!

Since it was so nice out I wanted to wear a dress so to keep my look seasonal (as I love to be) I went with my super cute Merlot Free People dress and a brown sweater. I finished the outfit with a chunky bracelet, animal print socks, and my black cowboy boots. We took these pictures right before I walked to work so I have my coffee and my giant suitcase of a purse too. Oh! And I can’t forget my juicy berry lippies as well!

I love this dress for many a reasons, but the highest ranking being that I can show off some tummy without feeling self-conscious. I’ve gained a lot of weight since graduating college and I’m still getting used to my new body. Some days I love it, other day I’m still adjusting. This dress gives me just enough coverage to hide anything that makes me feel awkward but still show off some skin.
