I haven’t been able to review very many beauty products over the past year since I’ve committed to buy very little in order to chip away at my stash. That commitment also included hair products so when I was afforded the chance to review these Hask hair oils I was super excited to have something new in my rotation. Check out what I think about them.
Spoil Me is a hairspray type product and the bottle claims that is de-frizzes, smooths, and that it is an instant re-styler.
I’ll first talk about the packaging or this product because its awesome! It comes in a bright green (a personal fave.) metal can and the top of the can tapers off to a cute pointed pink lid. The container looks like a bullet which is really neat. I love Bed Head packaging. This company never fails to deliver something interesting.
The other thing I loved about Spoil Me was that it had the most amazing smell. It did not smell like a hair product at all. It had an amazing fruity, fresh smell. I sometimes would spray it just to make my hair smell good.
I cannot really speak much on the product as a re-stylers since I never really used it to re-style. I bought this because of my hair’s tendency to frizz. As far as frizz goes I did notice it helped a little with de-frizzing but it was usually only a temporary fix. The product was best for smoothing. It worked lovely for me when I would put my hair in a pony tail (which is quite a task for me) by smoothing down the fly-aways on my head. The smoothing properties did not last very long though, I would say about 3 to 4 hours so this would have to be followed up with a regular hairspray.
In conclusion, I would totally buy this product again if for no other reason than the smell. Every single time I use it I get compliments on smelling good and I like that. Seeing as how it is a Bed Head product it is available at most drug stores, Walmart, and Target, but it is going to be one of the highest priced items in those stores. The price is actually the only thing (besides the fact that I’m back in Belgium) that was delay the repurchase process for me. I am one of those people that really have to talk myself into buying the more expensive hair products and as far as pricey hair stuff goes the next on my list is the Its A 10 leave in conditioner.
I hope this was helpful for someone. Have a great day yall.
